I wish I was joking, but I’m not. The only thing that stopped this was another officer finally showed up and informed everyone that he thought this would be best handled in civil court, but he did tell me that if anything else happened to give them a call, which I highly doubt I will do.
Seriously?!? How does the victim who placed the 911 call end up being treated like a criminal?!?
He then tells me that I need to find somewhere else to go, or he’s going to arrest me for disturbing the peace.
Not only do we have racist cops in the Verdigris Police Department, but we also have cops who like to threaten the victim who called 911 and pal around with the criminal.
Giving racist jerks guns and sending them off to "police" the public is why people have to protest to begin with. What a bunch of cowards you are, shutting down your Facebook page to protect your racist cop. You can't counsel racism out of someone, not that you would even try. Oklahoma is developing a bad reputation. Maybe you should fire Brandon Jarvis and at least TRY to care?
PS I unfortunately was so rattled by the situation I didn’t catch his name or badge number, but I will be calling tomorrow to find out who he is and I’ll update with that information when I have it.
Officer Brandon Jarvis must be fired. How are black citizens ever going to regain trust in your department? Shameful.
When the officer arrived he didn’t even allow me to explain what happened. Him and his navy body started chatting about ol’ times. The officer then comes back and says various condescending things to me about how maybe if I had a job I wouldn’t be in this situation. I try to tell him I’m waiting for my disability application to be approved, and he tells me to “shut up.”
Some of the cops there are very unprofessional, especially whenever directing traffic during a wreck.
Anyway, when he attacked me I grabbed my phone and called 911. I stayed on the phone with the 911 person until the police arrived. She got to listen to this worthless excuse for a human being stomp around and continue to yell at me.
As they were leaving the original unfit-to-be-an-officer cop told me that if I did call them that they can tell the difference between actual assault wounds and self-inflicted wounds...so I’d better make sure not to try and lie to them, or I’d find myself in jail.
Last night I was attacked and repeatedly threatened by my mother’s husband. He’s a former navy guy who has serious issues. I’m disabled and waiting for social security disability to be approved. My mother and her husband are living for free in the house that belonged to my grandmother before she passed away last year, for free. I’m also not the only one he’s attacked...a few months ago he gave my brother a black eye for not waking up in time for work. He’s 21, but he has aspergers, and has the intellect of a 12 year old. That’s the kind of guy my mom’s husband is. He also makes like 12 bucks an hour at manufacturing jobs that he frequently gets fired from...so my mother (a registered nurse) has to pay for most of his existence. He’s truly a horrible human being, but my mother isn’t without fault either.
